Horizon Family Medical group adds family nurse nurse practitioner teaching jobs practitioner in Monroe Published Jan 18, 2017 at 11:47 am (Updated Jan 18, 2017) MONROE — Horizon Family Medical Group welcomes family nurse practitioner Wendy Dawn Rodriguez to its Monroe office. Rodriguez is a 2016 graduate of Mount Saint Mary College’s advanced nursing program with a Master’s Degree in nursing. She has been a practicing registered nurse in excellent standing with more than 20 years of experience. She has worked as a registered nurse for the Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, N.J., and 13 years at Hackensack University Medical Center. While at HUMC, she was a member of the Committee for Quality Council. She also worked as an RN staff researcher and published an article in the National Association for Health Care Recruitment in 2000. Rodriguez is pursuing post-graduate education at Mount Saint Mary and anticipates graduating in May as a certified nurse educator. She is also an adjunct faculty member there and adjunct clinical instructor through the college at Orange Regional Medical Center. In addition, Rodriguez volunteered as a teacher assistant and lab clinical teacher assistant at Mount Saint Mary.
